Several people have been injured following a Delta Airlines aircraft from LA to Sydney experienced significant turbulence Friday morning.
Flight DL41 "went through a short bout of rough air" as it made its approach and landed at Sydney Airport, a company official informed. A number of the onboard staff were injured.
Local paramedics said they assessed a total of five people, and transferred three of them to hospital with minor injuries that included pain in the back and headaches. The injured were between their 30s to 70s.
